Stehekin Evacuated

When we visited Stehekin in early August (see August 9 post), there was a forest fire smoldering a couple of miles southeast of where we stayed. It was mostly out, so we did not worry much about it. Well, a few days ago, the fire came back to life, forcing the townspeople and tourists to evacuate. Now we wait and see if the town survives.
