Ranger Creek July 3

I am quite a bit behind in posting photos from my summer hikes. Here are a couple from a hike in early July. I discovered this summer that I prefer hiking in an area where there is a chance that you might catch a glimpse of a huge ice-covered mountain in the distant (Mt. Rainier in this case).

Near the end of this hike, I noticed this little pale whisp of a flower. It is called a phantom orchid.

Pretty! Love the tree in the foreground of the Rainer shot - adds depth. :-D
