Little Victories
We conservatives must celebrate the little victories as they fly by (because the mainstream media sure won’t do it for us). Just this week:
Karl Rove will not be charged in the Plame leak fiasco.
Iraq has finally formed its government resulting from the December 2005 elections.
Our military has finally brought Al-Zarqawi “to justice.” (Bush spied; Terrorists died!)
Georgia has passed a law saying businesses can no longer consider wages paid to an illegal alien as a legal business expense for tax purposes.
The mere presence of the National Guard (guarding our nation, what a novel concept!) on the Mexican border has reduced border crossings by 20%. And they aren’t even carrying weapons. What if they were armed?
Three Cheers! Hip, hip, hurray!

Like the Georgia solution. I actually think that just enforcing the existing laws would be helpful.
IMHO, the most destructive people are neither conservative nor liberal, they're GREEDY!!!! :)
Nope, got that wrong. Greed is what makes the world go round. Most people are just barely greedy enough to haul their butt out of bed and go to work. Some folks (like Bill Gates?) are much more greedy than average, approaching ambitious.
I think the most destructive people are the ones who don't even try to abide by the laws. They steal what they want, they destroy what they want, they hurt other people every day by stealing, abusing them, kidnapping, raping, murdering. Whether they are drug addicts, gang members or terrorists, they have to be the most destructive people on the planet.
Those folks are called sociopaths . . . and our prisons are full of them. They can't be rehabilitated because they lack a conscience to make it work! There are instances where the old "off with their heads" has some merit. We really need to devise a better way to deal with those sorts. Any ideas?! Prisons are way overcrowded & the whole law & justice system (usually the largest portion of local government budgets) is barely keeping up with the demands on it.
